The journey continues to the Sahara Desert in Merzouga, where you’ll enjoy a camel ride and spend the night in a traditional desert camp. Along the way, we’ll visit the spectacular Todra Gorges and Dades Gorges, as well as Ouarzazate and the UNESCO World Heritage Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, famous for movies and series.
The tour also includes the enchanting coastal city of Essaouira, known as the Pearl of the Atlantic, and concludes in Marrakech, exploring its squares, palaces, souks, and iconic gardens. A complete experience of Moroccan culture, history, natural landscapes, and traditions.

Itinerary
Day 1: Tangier – Tetouan – Chefchaouen
We’ll start with a scenic drive through the [Rif Mountains](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rif_ mountains), passing the city of Tetouan. Stop for panoramic views before arriving in Chefchaouen, the Blue City. Its medina reflects strong Spanish architectural influence and is filled with colorful artisan shops. Enjoy rooftop cafes and restaurants with beautiful views and a pleasant breeze.
Day 2: Chefchaouen – Fez
After breakfast, we continue to Volubilis, passing through Ouazzane and other Rif villages. Explore the Roman ruins and learn about Moroccan history. Then proceed to Meknes for lunch and visit the historic medina walls, Bab el-Mansour gate, and the Moulay Ismail Mausoleum. In the afternoon, arrive in Fez for an overnight stay.
Day 3: Exploring Fez – Guided Tour
Start the day exploring Morocco’s oldest city, wandering its alleys and labyrinths. Visit the Royal Palace, the first Jewish quarter (Mellah), the famous University of Al Quaraouiyine, tanneries, the Attarine Museum, and the Moulay Idriss Mausoleum. After lunch, visit local cooperatives and enjoy a panoramic view of the entire Fez Medina.
Day 4: Fez – Merzouga Desert
Travel through the Atlas Mountains, stopping in Ifrane to explore the famous cedar forest, home to Barbary monkeys. Continue through the Tiz Ntalghamt mountain pass and the Ziz Valley for photos and local mint tea before reaching Midelt and onward to Merzouga for an overnight stay at a desert camp.
Day 5: Merzouga – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley
After sunrise, refresh and have breakfast at a local hotel. Continue toward Ouarzazate, visiting nearby Berber villages in the Todra and Dades Valleys. Overnight in a local hotel with dinner included.
Day 6: Dades – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou
After breakfast, continue along the Route of a Thousand Kasbahs, stopping at Kalaa Mgouna, center of the Roses Valley and famous for its annual festival. Visit Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, featured in movies and series such as Game of Thrones, Lawrence of Arabia, and Gladiator.
Day 7: Ait Ben Haddou – Essaouira
After breakfast, cross the Tizi-n-Tichka pass to Marrakech and continue toward the Atlantic coast to Essaouira, the Pearl of the Atlantic. Check in to a riad, enjoy the sunset from the city walls, have dinner with fresh fish, and take a stroll through the charming town.
Day 8: Essaouira – Guided Tour
Explore the ancient city of Mogador, known for its blue-and-white medina, long beaches, and Portuguese-era city walls. Overnight in a local riad.
Day 9: Essaouira – Marrakech
After lunch at the port, depart for Marrakech with minimal stops, arriving for an overnight stay in a riad or local hotel.
Day 10: Marrakech – Guided Tour
Guided tour of Marrakech’s main attractions, including Jemaa el-Fna Square, Koutoubia Mosque, souks, palaces, and museums. Visit Gueliz, Menara Gardens, and Majorelle Garden. Lunch and free time to explore the city at your own pace.
Day 11: Marrakech – Airport
Transfer to the airport for your departure.
