Next, we visit the historic ruins of Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, to discover the ancient mosaics and the Roman history of the region.
Finally, the excursion concludes with a return to your hotel in Fez.

Itinerary
One-Day Excursion to Meknes and Volubilis
The excursion begins with an early pick-up from the airport or your accommodation in Fez. Then we will head to Meknes, the Ismaili capital and one of Morocco’s imperial cities. During the visit, we will explore: Bab El-Mansour, the Sahrij Souani water reservoir, the royal stables, the granary, and the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail. There will be free time for lunch.
Afterwards, we will drive 30 km outside of Meknes to visit the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The site is very well preserved and features beautiful mosaics, pillars, and ancient arches.
Finally, we will return to Fez, and the excursion ends with drop-off at your accommodation.
