Itinerary
Day 1: Casablanca – Rabat – Meknes – Fez
Your private tour begins with pickup from your hotel in Casablanca. We will visit the main cultural sites before heading to Rabat for a short city tour. Then, we continue to Meknes and finally arrive in Fez, where you will spend the night in a local riad or hotel.
Day 2: Fez – Guided Tour
We will explore Morocco’s oldest city, walking through its narrow streets and souks. The tour starts at the Royal Palace of Fez gate, followed by the Jewish quarter Mellah, the first built in Morocco during the 16th century. You will see culturally and historically significant sites such as the University of Al Quaraouiyine, traditional tanneries, the Attarine Museum, and the Moulay Idriss Mausoleum. After lunch, visit local cooperatives and enjoy a panoramic view of the medina before returning to the riad.
Day 3: Fez – Merzouga Desert
We depart toward Azrou to explore the cedar forest, home to the Berber monkeys. Continue to Midelt and the Ziz Valley, stopping for lunch or refreshments in Erfoud and Rissani. Finally, arrive at Merzouga, where you can swap the 4×4 for camels (optional) guided by an expert. Explore the Erg Chebbi dunes and enjoy a spectacular sunset and traditional dinner around the campfire. Overnight in Berber desert tents.
Day 4: Merzouga Desert – Rissani – Todra Gorges – Dades Gorges
Wake up early to watch the sunrise over the dunes, then refresh at a local hotel. After breakfast, continue to Tinghir to visit the stunning Todra Gorges, Morocco’s tallest and narrowest canyon. After lunch, explore the Dades Valley and admire the curious “monkey fingers” rock formations. Overnight in the area with dinner and breakfast included.
Day 5: Dades – Ait Ben Haddou – Tizi-n-Tichka – Marrakech
The private tour continues to Kalaat Mgouna and Ouarzazate, known as “African Hollywood,” where we can visit film studios and local kasbahs. Then head to Ait Ben Haddou, Morocco’s largest kasbah and UNESCO World Heritage site. Cross the Atlas Mountains to reach Marrakech, where you will spend the night in a traditional riad in the medina.
Day 6: Marrakech – Casablanca
After breakfast, explore the Red City of Morocco. The guided tour includes the Majorelle Gardens, Koutoubia Mosque, the Saadian Tombs, and Bahia Palace. In the afternoon, you can explore the city on your own or enjoy other activities before the transfer back to Casablanca.
